Job summary
Aberdeen Heights in Kirkwood, MO is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants, ensuring person-centered care in a not-for-profit setting. The role adheres to federal, state and local standards and promotes resident well-being.
Starting at $31.00 an hour plus shift and weekend differential under our premium pay plan; relevant LPN education and Missouri licensure required.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an approved LPN Program.
- Must possess a current license to practice as an LPN in this state.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
- Previous geriatric nursing/long-term care experience is a plus.
- I.V. Certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents, and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
- Supervision must be in accordance with current standards and regulations to ensure quality care.
