Job summary

Bethesda Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide basic nursing care, assess residents on admission and ongoing, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update care plans. You will document assessments, communicate changes, and ensure safe delivery of medications and therapies in a supportive environment.

The role requires IV and CPR certifications or willingness to obtain within six months, strong communication, time management, and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications

• Education from an accredited nursing program resulting in LPN licensure.
• Active LPN license in the state of employment.
• IV certification required or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• Current CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and assess residents on admission and ongoing.
• Document assessments accurately and communicate changes to IDT.
• Support care planning and update plans as interventions change.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and timely.
• Assure safe IV administration if IV certified and maintain SBARR communications.
