Job summary

Liberty Cares is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support nursing services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in our geriatric care setting. Duties include delegating tasks, monitoring patient conditions, and communicating with physicians during emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed Practical Nurse licensed by the NC Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification current.
• Willing to work as charge nurse and cover emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing nursing services for unit under RN supervision.
• Delegate duties and monitor performance of nursing staff.
• Observe patients for signs of deterioration and communicate with physicians.
• Notify attending physician of emergencies and update orders as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
