Job summary

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to assist in directing nursing services under RN supervision and to monitor patient conditions in a geriatric setting.

The role requires a current NC LPN license, annual CPR certification, and a willingness to cover emergencies and assist with orders as directed by physicians. High school diploma and nursing education from an accredited program are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse is required and must be licensed in North Carolina.
• Current CPR certification (annual) is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent completed before graduation.
• Experience in geriatric nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing nursing services for the unit in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act and under RN supervision.
• Delegate duties to nursing staff and monitor performance under RN oversight.
• Observe patients for signs of adverse changes in physical or mental condition.
• Notify attending physician in emergencies and implement changes to orders as instructed.
