Job summary

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our geriatric care team. Under RN supervision, you will assist in directing nursing services, delegate tasks, monitor patients, and respond to emergencies as needed.

Candidates must have a valid NC LPN license, high school diploma, CPR certification, and willingness to work as charge nurse during emergencies to ensure adequate coverage. Training and staff meetings are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.

• Willing to work as charge nurse and cover emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assists in direction of nursing services for unit/hall under RN supervision.
• Delegates duties to nursing staff under RN supervision.
• Observes patients for signs of adverse change.
• Notifies attending physician of emergencies and implements orders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
