Job summary

Liberty Healthcare Management in Raleigh, North Carolina is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our geriatric care team. You will support nursing services under RN supervision, delegate tasks, monitor patient status, and respond to emergencies with prompt communication to physicians.

Requirements include a NC LPN license, high school diploma, graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, CPR certification, and willingness to cover shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Willing to work as charge nurse and cover emergencies.
• Ability to provide quality nursing care and follow doctors’ orders.
• CPR certified yearly.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.
• High school graduate.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in direction of nursing services under RN supervision.
• Delegate duties to nursing staff and monitor performance.
• Observe patients for signs of adverse change.
• Notify attending physician of emergencies and adjust orders as instructed by physicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
