Job summary

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services in North Carolina is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will assist with nursing services on units, monitor patient conditions, and help implement physician orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed Practical Nurse registration from NC Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification current.
• Willing to work as charge nurse and cover emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assists in directing nursing services for unit, under RN supervision.
• Delegates duties to nursing staff and monitors performance under RN supervision.
• Observes patients for changes in physical or mental condition indicating adverse events.
• Notifies attending physician of emergencies and updates orders as directed by physicians.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
