Job summary

Liberty Health in Pinehurst, NC, is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing team. You will assist in directing nursing services on the unit under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and help monitor patient conditions and responses to treatment.

The ideal candidate holds an active North Carolina LPN license, is CPR certified, and is willing to act as charge nurse and cover emergencies to ensure adequate patient care.

Qualifications

• LPN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing (NCBON) required.
• CPR certification renewed yearly required.
• Willingness to serve as charge nurse and cover emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assists in directing nursing services for unit/hall under RN supervision.
• Delegates duties to nursing staff and monitors performance with RN supervision.
• Observes patients for signs of deterioration and notifies supervising staff/physician as needed.
• Assists in implementing changes to orders as directed by physicians.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
