Vierra Falls Church, a Vierra Communities property, is seeking an LPN for full-time night coverage (11:00pm–7:30am) in Falls Church, VA. Shift options include 7am–3:30pm and 3pm–11:30pm. Compensation ranges from $34 to $38 hourly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Active/unrestricted LPN license.
• Active CPR/BLS.
• Long term care experience is preferred.
• 1-2 years experience in skilled nursing preferred.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Direct resident care and supervision of non-licensed team members in skilled nursing operations.
• Ensure quality assurance and regulatory compliance with high-quality care and service.
• Oversee coordination of residents' health and wellness needs.
• Collaborate with families and community physicians to address residents' needs.
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English.

Major Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Responsible for providing direct resident care and supervision of resident care work of non-licensed team members in the skilled nursing operations and other areas throughout the community as appropriate
• Ensuring quality assurance and regulatory compliance while promoting the highest degree of quality care and service
• Overseeing coordination of residents' health and wellness needs
• Working closely with family members and consulting with community physician(s) to ensure residents' needs are being attended to in a personalized way
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Active/unrestricted LPN license
• Active CPR/BLS
• Long term care experience is preferred
• 1-2 years experience in skilled nursing preferred
• Must pass a criminal background check
