Vierra Communities, Woodside Rehab & Nursing in Bethesda, MD, is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join a compassionate, patient-centered team. This full-time, non-exempt position provides direct resident care and coordinates with the health team to meet residents' wellness needs.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, active LPN license, CPR/BLS, and 1–2 years in skilled nursing. Proficiency with HRIS and timekeeping software and fluency in English are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Active LPN license is required and CPR/BLS certification is preferred.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and supervise non-licensed care staff.

Major Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Responsible for providing direct resident care and supervision of resident care work of non-licensed team members in the skilled nursing operations and other areas throughout the community as appropriate
• Ensuring quality assurance and regulatory compliance while promoting the highest degree of quality care and service
• Overseeing coordination of residents' health and wellness needs
• Working closely with family members and consulting with community physician(s) to ensure residents' needs are being attended to in a personalized way

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Active/unrestricted LPN license
• Active CPR/BLS
• Long term care experience is preferred
• 1-2 years experience in skilled nursing preferred
• Requires proficiency in technology-driven patient care and HRIS and timekeeping/attendance software
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
