Job summary

IMPACT, Inc. in Middletown, CT, is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Day Services Program. This full-time role runs 7:30 am–3:30 pm, 40 hours weekly, supporting individuals with ID/DD.

You will follow agency policies, promote inclusion and emotional growth, and collaborate with staff to ensure health, well-being and development; CPR/First Aid and DDS meds certs are required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• CT LPN license required.
• 1–3 years experience with ID/DD and disabilities.
• Trach care experience required.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• CPR/First Aid, PMT, and DDS Medication Administration certification as required.

IMPACT, a non-profit organization serving individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Day Services Program in Middletown. The LPN will follow agency policies and participate in related goals and plans, which promote inclusion as well as social and emotional growth for the individuals we support. The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for the health, well-being, and development of individuals we serve and works in conjunction with other staff members to provide the best possible care for all individuals. Supports the IMPACT mission, vision, and guiding principles. Must have trach care experience.

• Valid CT LPN License
• Valid CT Driver’s License
• Typically, 1-3 years on the job experience. Experience working with individuals with ID/DD and physical disabilities exhibiting challenging medical, physical, and behavioral needs required for some programs. Will train individuals with a genuine commitment and interest in working with adults with ID/DD.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule; including different programs as needed.
• Have or be able to obtain CPR/First Aid, PMT, and DDS Medication Administration Certification, as required.
