Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning in Trumbull, CT is seeking a License Practical Nurse (LPN) to oversee nursing care quality for individuals served. The role includes coordinating with staff, providers, and families to ensure compliance with state regulations and Aspire policies, plus ongoing training and support.

Schedule is Mon Tue Thu Fri 7am-3pm with responsibilities in documentation, medication ordering/dispensing, and care coordination to support residents’ health and well-being.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have demonstrated computer literacy.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of clerical procedures and system.
• Ability to pass and maintain required trainings.
• Must possess an active nursing license in the state in which you’re working.
• Must have satisfactory background checks
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record

Responsibilities

• Participate in the delivery of health care services to individuals and direct care as deemed appropriate by staff in charge.
• Participate in the IEP/ISP process and advocate for the individual, promoting dignity and respect.
• Evaluates episodic health needs through nursing assessment and continuous observation.
