Job summary

New Season Treatment Centers in Florida seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our clinic team. You will work under the supervision of the Medical Director, RN, and Program Director, delivering compassionate patient care and supporting individuals living with Opioid Use Disorder.

The role emphasizes accurate medication handling and collaboration with our care team to ensure the highest standard of service.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required in your state.
• Understanding of opiate addiction, medical terminology, general nursing knowledge, and techniques.
• Must be computer literate and have basic knowledge of all Microsoft products (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Basic typing skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supply and administer medication per physician's order and record dosage.
• Conduct daily inventory of medication supply and maintain accuracy in records.
• Collect fees and perform daily cash reconciliation when cashier absent.
• Ensure proper disposal of medical waste and adherence to protocol.
• Observe patient demeanor prior to dosing and monitor vitals as required.
• Coordinate with other centers to verify dosages as needed.
• Administer lab tests and collect data for Medical Director/RN review.
• Schedule patients for evaluation by Medical Director and assist in data collection for history and exam.
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient medical records and documents.
• Assist in CARF preparation and state audit processes.
• Greet visitors, answer phones, and monitor patient activities on center premises.
