Country Meadows in Hershey, PA is seeking an LPN to contribute to a welcoming, caring environment for residents and co-workers. You will work with the Charge Nurse to ensure nursing services are rendered on the unit.

Pay starts at $35.50/hour with shift differential; opportunities to earn more with experience. Part-time Evening shift and Full-time Overnight shift available, with schedules featuring every other weekend and holiday off for better work-life balance.

Qualifications

• LPN license in the state where employed.
• CPR certification; we will pay for you to be certified if needed.
• Minimum of one-year experience in assisted living or other health care setting.
• Leadership skills and the ability to form relationships with residents, their loved ones and coworkers.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this role.

Responsibilities

• Makes rounds with physicians, assisting them in examining and treating residents as necessary. Ensure physician documentation is completed as needed.
• Administers treatments as ordered according to physician orders and facility policies.
• Observes unit and residents, reporting pertinent information to the Charge Nurse.
• Assumes Charge Nurse responsibilities in the absence of the Charge Nurse.
• Participates in hiring CNAs and assists in onboarding new coworkers.
• Administers medications per physician orders and facility policies; reports issues promptly.
