The Hawkeye Care Centers is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care in assigned areas in accordance with established standards and under the direction of the registered nurse.

Responsibilities include administering medications, coordinating with residents, families, and the health care team, and delivering compassionate care to our elderly residents while maintaining confidentiality and privacy. Evening/night shifts are available with part-time and full-time options.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Completion of relevant state Board of Nursing approved.
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider training (BCLS).

Responsabilidades

• Utilizes nursing knowledge in basic preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative care to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Performs delegated nursing functions under the guidance of the RN.
• Administers medications accurately and monitors patient response.
• Maintains communication among residents, families, staff and physicians.
• Provides shift change reports with pertinent information for assigned patients.
• Collaborates with health care team to coordinate patient care and uses available systems.

Educación

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing

Completion of relevant state Board of Nursing approved
