Qualifications

• Current LPN license and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program per state requirements.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Previous experience with the elderly in a paid or volunteer role is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, document, and communicate residents’ status.
• Observe and report significant changes in resident health as directed by leadership and state regulations.
• Direct and supervise the daily work of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentor and guide Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinate care needs with community providers via case management.
• Balance service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognize and report elder abuse, neglect, or exploitation per state regulations.
• Respond to emergencies and use personal emergency response systems as needed.
