Your Job As a Dispensing Nurse

The LPN plays a vital role in our patients’ treatment and recovery from opioid use disorder. Responsibilities include providing safe, efficient medication dispensing under supervision, accurate reporting, and documentation of patient responses and progress.

Your Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of Medical and Clinic Directors
• Maintain professional nursing standards
• Prepare and administer medication accurately and timely
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation
• Safeguard medication stock and records as per regulations
• Dedicate 90% of work hours to medication administration activities
• Handle urine collection, test result reading, and related documentation

Qualifications

Education & Skills:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school
• Prefer 1 year experience in behavioral health, outpatient treatment, or addiction recovery
• Experience with MAT preferred
• No history of substance misuse for three years prior to employment

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current LPN license in Vermont or a compact license valid in VT
