Job summary

Acadia Healthcare's Cleveland Comprehensive Treatment Center seeks a compassionate LPN/LVN to join our outpatient MAT OTP team. The Dispensing Nurse administers medications, monitors patients, and supports the clinical team in a fast-paced, recovery-focused environment.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, strict inventory control, and collaboration with supervisors to ensure safe, effective care for patients with opioid use disorder.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (LPN/LVN).
• Prefer 1 year of nursing experience in behavioral health, outpatient treatment, or addiction recovery.
• Training or experience in outpatient MAT is preferred.
• Ability to operate, monitor and maintain medical equipment safely and effectively.
• Skilled in drawing blood and collecting specimens for lab testing.
• Proficient in EMR systems and related clinical software.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, professional care in an outpatient OTP setting.
• Prepare and administer medications accurately and promptly.
• Document medication administration and nursing care in patient records.
• Maintain inventory control of medications per DEA and other regulators.
• Dedicate ~90% of time to medication administration; rest to other duties.
• Conduct urine/blood tests, intake assessments, and monitoring of outcomes.
• Complete documentation per clinic standards and policies.
• Transport medications as needed or work on a mobile unit.
