Job summary

Acadia Fayetteville Comprehensive Treatment Center seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to dispense medications and support opioid use disorder treatment. Under Medical Director oversight, you will document patient progress, ensure accurate MARs, and maintain medication security in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Ideal candidates have NC LPN licensure, behavioral health experience, and a commitment to trauma-informed, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Prefer 1 year of nursing experience in behavioral health/outpatient treatment/addiction recovery.
• No history of alcohol or other drug misuse for three years before employment.

Responsibilities

• Dispenses medication under Medical Director/Physician supervision.
• Maintains accurate nursing notes and MARs.
• Ensures safekeeping of medication stock and related records (DEA, FDA, ADP).
• Dedicates ~90% of shifts to medication administration; ~10% to other duties.
