Charleston Manor is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead resident care with a hands-on management style and ensure regulatory standards are met.

The DON will oversee nursing staff, develop policies, conduct evaluations, and coordinate patient care with other departments to maintain high-quality service and cost controls. A minimum of 1 year supervisory experience is preferred; LPN license and CPR/First Aid are required.

• Supervisory role experience (1 year preferred).
• LPN license required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.

Charleston Manor is currently seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team.

Director of Nursing Duties and Responsibilities:

• The coordination of resident care with a “hands on” management style

• Strong organizational skills

• Develops, reviews, and revises nursing and clinical policies

• Able to work days but also willing to be flexible during a staff shortage or emergency situation

• Conduct employee performance evaluations and disciplinary situations to ensure quality care of residents

• Ability to multi-task

• Knowledge of Residential Care Regulations

• Ability to lead in the recruitment of qualified staff by conducting interviews

• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant

• Ability to focus on customer service and collaboration with other departments to develop, support, and coordinate patient care and related functions

• Promote an atmosphere of respect, professional growth, and encouragement for all nursing staff members and assure regulatory standards and company goals are met or exceeded

• Responsible for cost controls by monitoring the use of supplies and equipment

Director of Nursing Qualifications and Skills:

• Supervisory: 1 years (Preferred)

• LPN Nurse License (Required)

• CPR/First Aid (Required)
