Job summary

Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for day shift, PRN availability in Greensboro, NC. The role focuses on direct patient care, medication administration, and adherence to nursing process under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, and documentation. Active LPN licensure in NC and CPR certification are required, with a preference for 1 year of clinical experience within a team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience.
• Must have current LPN/LVN licensure in the state of employment and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, assess patients’ physical, psychological, and social dimensions; contribute to treatment planning.
• Administer medications, including IV therapy if certified, and perform diagnostics per protocol.
• Collaborate in controlled substance counts at shift start and respond to health emergencies.
• Assist in medical or minor surgical procedures and document nursing encounters using SOAP charting.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings and training to maintain high-quality patient care.
