Job summary

Good Samaritan - Woodland in Brainerd, Minnesota, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional care for residents in long-term and transitional care under RN/physician supervision. You will apply nursing skills, document care, and collaborate with the care team.

The role requires LPN licensure, with an expected day shift 6:00am–2:30pm, every other weekend/holiday. A weekend incentive and robust benefits are offered, with education support and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and be licensed as an LPN.
• Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
• Current unencumbered LPN license with state board; multi-state licensure acceptable.
• Minimum of 400 hours of supervised clinical experience or prior LPN experience.
• Annual continuing education and competency training as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents under supervision.
• Assist with assessment and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions, outcomes, and care plans.
• Maintain confidentiality and collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team.
• Counsel residents and families on prevention and treatment plans.
