Job summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. This position is based at Good Samaritan - Bethany in Brainerd, Minnesota, part of Sanford Health.

It is a full-time role on the 2:00pm to 10:30pm evening shift, with every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program with LPN license.
• Unencumbered LPN license required; maintain required competencies.
• Sign-on bonus and shift differentials noted in the role.
• Evening shift availability and full‑time scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents under supervision.
• Perform nursing assessments, administer medications and treatments.
• Document interactions and outcomes; communicate with care team.
• Maintain confidentiality and collaborate across disciplines.
