Care Initiatives is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as Charge Nurse with 6a-6p shifts across our Iowa communities. You will provide and supervise skilled nursing care, administer medications, manage care plans, and mentor CNAs while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualificações

• Valid LPN license in good standing (Iowa).
• Current CPR certification.
• State-approved LPN Supervisory Course completed or able to obtain within 90 days.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct ongoing assessments of residents' clinical status and contribute to individualized care planning with the interdisciplinary team.
• Deliver and oversee direct nursing care, including wound treatments and IV therapy (as permitted).
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments safely, monitoring response and documenting accurately.
• Serve as a clinical leader on the unit, coordinating resident care and communicating with physicians, leadership, residents and families.
• Supervise, mentor, and support CNAs and other staff to promote accountability and high-quality care.
• Ensure adherence to regulations, infection prevention, and Care Initiatives policies.
