Job summary

HAN Staff is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Turbeville, South Carolina.

Provide direct patient care under supervision, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and support admissions, discharges, and transfers in a correctional healthcare setting.

The position offers local pay of $40.00/hour (W2) plus travel pay options and eligible benefits; start date is 09/28/2026 with a night shift from 6pm to 7am.

Qualifications

• Current SC LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience.
• Copy of PSV from licensing board if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs.
• Assist with patient assessments and care plans.
• Wound care, specimen collection and basic procedures.
• Document patient care in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow policies.

Local Pay: $ 40.00/hour- W2

Travel Pay:

Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hourly $18.01, Stipend (Lodging $630.00 + M&I $301.00) = $931.00,

Total Comp: $1,579.36

Shift Details:

• Start Date: 09/28/2026

• Night Shift: 6pm - 7am

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes in condition.

• Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.

• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other basic nursing procedures.

• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.

• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.

• Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted South Carolina license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

• Minimum of 1+ year within the last 3 years of recent experience as a LPN

• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., . BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,..)
