Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Oxford, Mississippi team.

You will provide direct patient care under supervision, administer medications, monitor vitals, and assist with assessments and care plans in a professional healthcare setting. The role offers varying shifts, competitive pay at $29.00/hour (W2), and benefits such as health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, plus 401(k) retirement.

Qualifications

• Current, valid MS LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent LPN experience.
• Copy of PSV from licensing board or verification agency if required.
• Copy of current required certifications (BLS, N95 fit test, immunizations, TB test).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a RN or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes.
• Assist with patient assessments and implement care plans.
• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and basic nursing procedures.
• Document patient care in EMR.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, therapeutic environment.
• Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes in condition.
• Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other basic nursing procedures.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestrictedMS license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
• Minimum of 1 yearof recent experience as aLPN.
• Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,…)
