Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. in Collins, Mississippi seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for direct patient care under supervision of RN or physician. You will administer medications, monitor vitals, assist with assessments and care plans, perform wound care, document in EMR, and educate patients and families.

The role requires an active MS LPN license, at least 1 year of LPN experience, and PSV documentation if required, with comprehensive benefits including CEUs and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Current, valid Mississippi LPN license/certification in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent LPN experience.
• PSV (Primary Source Verification) from licensing board or verification agency if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes.
• Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and basic nursing procedures.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
• Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.

• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other basic nursing procedures.

• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.

• Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestrictedMS license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

• Minimum of 1 yearof recent experience as aLPN.
