Job summary

CentraCare Health in Saint Cloud, MN is seeking LPN or CMA professionals to support clinic operations, patient rooming, and documentation in the EMR. You will assist Providers with procedures, perform telephone screenings, and communicate patient results to care teams, working 64 hours every two weeks in day shifts.

Starting pay varies by role and experience, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus for LPN and $2,000 for CMA, plus relocation assistance and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Minnesota required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider required per established policy.
• High school diploma required for CMA/RMA.
• Completion of American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or American Medical Technologists (AMT), NCMA, or National Health career Association (NHA) accredited program required.
• Must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider required per established policy

Responsibilities

Job description

The LPN or CMA will provide patient rooming for all types of clinic visits, communicate results and other pertinent medical information to patients and providers, assist in assuring the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed timely and efficiently, assist Providers with clinic procedures, accurately and appropriately document procedures and treatments in the patients' electronic medical record, perform telephone screening and gather information from patients to communicate to the RN or Provider, administer appropriate medications and immunizations to patients under the direction of the RN or provider, recognize patient’s abnormalities or urgent care needs and seek appropriate assistance.

Schedule:

• Full-time | 64 hours every two weeks | St. Cloud
• Days | working hours 7:45am-4:45pm
• Every 6th Saturday 7:45am-12:15pm
• No major holidays

Pay and Benefits:

• LPN starting pay begins at $24.71 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
  • Pay range: $24.71 – $37.08 per hour
• CMA starting pay begins at $21.97 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
  • Pay range: $21.97 - $32.96 per hour

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required

To be eligible for the sign-on bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. Previous employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare/Carris for at least 9 months at the date of hire.

To be eligible for the relocation bonus you must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare/Carris in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away andrelocate to within 30 miles of primary work location within 120 days.
