Job summary

Affinity Hospice in Alabaster, AL is seeking a Clinical Support Specialist - LPN to provide direct administrative support to the IDG clinical team, including medical records, scheduling, QA activities and IDG documentation support.

The role requires an active LPN license, at least one year of clinical records management experience (preferably in hospice), and solid information systems knowledge to ensure regulatory compliance and protect patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in nursing with an LPN license or international equivalent.
• One year experience in clinical records management, preferably in hospice care.
• Information systems knowledge required.
• Accredited Records Technician Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily clinical records functions and implement records policies.
• Ensure records systems comply with state, federal, and ACHC regulations.
• Protect confidentiality of patient and organization information.
• Coordinate scheduling and IDG documentation with clinical and administrative teams.
• Oversee the clinical records team to ensure accurate filing and retrieval.
