Job summary

HMR Veterans Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for night shifts to support care for veterans in a compassionate, dignified setting. The role focuses on supervision of daily nursing operations, delivering high-quality care, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The position emphasizes teamwork with an interdisciplinary staff, maintaining safety standards, and contributing to outstanding resident outcomes in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or approved LPN/LVN program.
• Current, active, and unrestricted LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, long-term care setting, or other healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support daily nursing operations during your assigned shift.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents.
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes appropriately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support exceptional resident outcomes.
• Assist the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing in maintaining the highest standards of resident care and clinical excellence.

To be successful in this role, you should have:
