Job summary

Vitality Living Hudson is seeking an LPN Charge Nurse to join our Hudson community. The role focuses on nursing leadership, medication administration, and coordinating resident care plans with physicians and the wellness director.

We value teamwork, reliability, and excellent communication to support our residents and families. Qualified candidates maintain an LPN license, CPR certification, and relevant state requirements.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old.
• Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain current professional license and CPR certification if LPN/LVN.
• Maintain any other certifications as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist residents to self-administer medications and treatments.
• Collect, store, and transport specimens for laboratory studies as needed.
• Communicate with physicians by telephone, fax, and Physician Communication forms.
• Ensure orders, lab reports and data are scanned and filed in resident charts.
• Assist in development and revision of service plans; inform Wellness Director of resident needs.

LPN Charge Nurse Requirements:

• Administrate or assist residents to self-administer medications and treatments
• Collect, store, and ensure transport of certain specimens for laboratory studies
• Communicate with physicians via telephone, fax, and Physician Communication forms
• Ensure physician orders, laboratory reports, and other data is scanned and filed in resident charts
• Assist in the development and revision of service plans. Inform Wellness Director of current resident needs and preferences as well as successful service approaches
• Perform other duties as directed by Wellness Director
