Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with LPN credential and state license.
• CPR and AED certification required or to be obtained within six months.
• IV certification required or willing to obtain within six months.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Ability to assess basic nursing care needs of geriatric residents.
• Excellent communication skills with residents, families, and staff.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and assess residents on admission and ongoing.
• Document assessments accurately and communicate changes to the IDT.
• Participate in care planning and update plans of care as interventions change.
• Administer medications and treatments safely; document interventions.
• Respond to call lights and assist with residents' ADLs as needed.
• Maintain safety and follow Bethesda policies; use SBAR for physician communication.
