Job summary

HIGHLANDHILLS in seeks a dedicated LPN/LVN supervisor to provide direct nursing care and oversee the daily nursing activities of CNAs in a long-term care facility. The role requires ensuring care quality and adherence to federal, state and local standards, with guidance from the Director of Nursing and Nurse Supervisor.

The incumbent will manage shift nursing services, review policies, participate in discharge planning, and ensure accurate charting and documentation for residents.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree or Diploma and be licensed to practice as an LPN/LVN in the state.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English; communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing functions and supervise nursing assistants to ensure quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain nursing service plans, participate in quality assurance activities, and coordinate with other departments.
