Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing care and supervision of nursing assistants.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure adherence by the nursing staff.
• Complete and file required charting and documentation for residents.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents; participate in discharge planning as needed.
• Communicate with physicians regarding treatment plans and changes in resident condition.
