Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must hold a current, unencumbered active nursing license in the state.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English; communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing assistants and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and discharge planning documentation.
• Chart and document resident care accurately and promptly.
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians and verify resident identity.
• Oversee nursing care, safety, sanitation, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Participate in staff development, performance evaluations, and quality assurance.
