Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care for residents in a warm, home-like environment. You will work with a collaborative team to monitor residents, document health status, and coordinate care with physicians and families.

The ideal candidate holds a current LPN license with CPR certification and has 1–2 years of nursing experience, preferably with seniors. A supportive benefits package is offered within a values‑driven culture.

Qualifications

• Current state's LPN license and CPR certification required.
• 1–2 years nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with elderly care in paid or volunteer roles is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, communicate, and document residents’ status accurately.
• Observe and report changes in resident health to care leadership and family.
• Direct and supervise daily tasks of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentor Lead RCAs in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinate care with community providers via case management processes.
• Balance service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognize and report elder abuse or neglect per state regulations.
• Respond to emergencies and utilize emergency response systems.
