Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver nursing care in a warm, home-like community. You will assess and document residents’ status, coordinate with care teams, and supervise Resident Care Assistants while mentoring Lead RCAs.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with the elderly in paid or volunteer positions is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, communicate, and document residents’ status accurately.
• Observe and report changes to care team and Directors.
• Direct and supervise daily work of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentor Lead Resident Care Assistants in their roles and duties.
• Coordinate care needs with community providers through case management.
• Balance service demands with resident independence.
• Recognize and report elder abuse or exploitation per state regulations.
• Respond to emergencies and activate backup when needed.
