Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care to residents in a warm, home-like environment. You will join a dedicated team focused on building community and long-lasting relationships with residents and associates.

Responsibilities include assessing residents, communicating status, supervising Resident Care Assistants, mentoring leads, coordinating with providers, and promptly addressing emergencies while upholding state regulations.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN (state license) and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred, especially with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports significant changes in resident health to care leadership and family per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises daily work assignments of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors and guides Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via case management.
• Balances service demands with resident independence.
• Recognizes and reports elder abuse or exploitation per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and activates backup as needed.
