OSF HealthCare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (Care Guide) to support providers and patient care in an outpatient setting. The role includes rooming patients, assisting with care, discharges, and coordinating front/back-office tasks.

This is an hourly position with duties across clinics, including floating to facilities as needed. The ideal candidate holds an LPN license, a valid BLS, and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (required).
• LPN license and BLS certification to be obtained within 2 weeks of hire.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proficient with Microsoft software.
• Experience with EPIC EHR preferred.

Responsabilités

• Register, collect payments, room patients and assist the provider with care.
• Discharge patients and follow up with patients and families.
• Assist with front office and back-office tasks in outpatient clinic.
• Floating to various facilities as needed.
