Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing is required.
• Current Massachusetts license as an LPN in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Ensures care delivered is within safe professional nursing practice and established standards.
• Collaborates with MD/NP, nurses, social worker, therapists and dietitian to meet patient needs.
• Practices in a primary nursing model with RN oversight of assessment and care planning.
• Documents care in EMR and initiates necessary reports.
• Participates in governance, quality improvement and unit activities.
• May serve as charge nurse with RN oversight and supervise care delivery.
