Job summary

Garden Spring Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Willow Grove, PA is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses to join our care team. The facility offers full-time and part-time schedules with shifts from 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am.

Qualifications

The most successful candidate for this position

• Has at least 6 months experience in the long-term care OR rehab setting
• New grads allowed (however must be willing to take up a full-time position)
• Embraces our person-centered care approach to meet each resident's needs and preferences
• Possesses a true passion for excellence in nursing care
• Demonstrates the ability to remain calm and perform effectively during peak periods of activity and emergency situations
• Effectively interacts with residents, their family members, and the healthcare team members

The responsibilities & duties

• In coordination with the healthcare team, assesses, plans, directs, evaluates, and modifies each resident's care plan to meet with his/her physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs
• Manage emergency situations in a prompt, precise, and professional manner
• Maintains accurate, detailed reports and records
• Completes medication administration and treatment needs for all assigned residents
