Job summary

University City Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Philadelphia is hiring an LPN for full-time positions on 7am–7pm, 7pm–7am, and 3pm–11pm shifts. Compensation ranges from $27 to $37 per hour with daily pay and a patient-centered approach to care.

As an LPN, you will deliver care per plans, administer medications, monitor residents, document meticulously, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. We promote compassion, respect, and excellence in daily practice.

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license in Pennsylvania (PA).
• Valid BLS CPR certification required.
• Ability to manage multiple residents in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care per accepted nursing standards and written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by Nurse Manager and team.
• Administer medications and treatments per plan and facility policy.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes to supervisor or physician.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per orders, care plans, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Provide patient care in accordance with accepted standards of nursing practice, the written plan of care, and the physician’s plan of treatment.
• Follow and implement individualized care plans developed by the Nurse Manager and interdisciplinary team.
• Perform medication administration and prescribed treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC) and facility policies.
• Monitor residents’ conditions, report changes promptly to the supervising nurse or physician, and respond appropriately to clinical needs.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and regulatory standards.
• Support a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment for residents and their families.

Qualifications for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Current, unencumbered active LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to care for and manage multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail.
