Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Cleveland is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or a Registered Nurse (RN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult medically fragile patient's in their own homes.

Responsibilities include using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; providing skilled nursing services per orders; monitoring signs and symptoms and documenting nursing diagnoses; and collaborating with health care members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current TB test or chest X-ray, current BLS card, LPN/LVN license in the practicing state, and 1 year nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from health care members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Education

LPN/LVN license

TB test/Chest X-ray

BLS certification

1 year nursing experience preferred
