Goldwater Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants in a 12-hour shift setting. The LPN will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards while maintaining the highest quality of care for residents.

Responsibilities include directing day-to-day nursing activities, charting, administering medications, and collaborating with inter-departmental staff to maintain a warm, safe, and efficient unit.

Qualificações

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current unencumbered state licensure.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Long Term Care experience preferred.
• Must be able to work 12 hours a shift.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and supervise staff.
• Complete and file required recordkeeping forms/charts at admission, transfer, or discharge.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop and maintain good working rapport with other departments and create a calm environment on the unit.
• Perform nursing duties and related tasks as assigned.
