Job summary

Goldwater Care is seeking a licensed LPN to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines and support the Director of Nursing in maintaining high-quality care.

You will direct daily nursing activities, manage documentation, administer medications, and collaborate with interdepartmental teams to deliver a warm, safe unit environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with an active state license.
• Proficient in English written and spoken.
• Ability to make independent clinical decisions.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and facility regulations.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing activities and supervise aides.
• Coordinate shift services, report on activities, admit/transfer/discharge residents.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered.
• Maintain unit rapport and ensure a calm environment.
• Perform charting and documentation per policy.
• Ensure safety and privacy of resident information.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
