Job summary

Goldwater Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards under the Director of Nursing.

Duties include directing daily nursing activities, admitting/transferring/discharging residents, transcribing orders, documenting care, and administering medications as ordered. Requires active LPN license and CPR; long-term care experience preferred; 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current unencumbered state licensure.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
• Must be able to work 12 hours a shift.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and supervise staff.
• Complete and file admission/transfer/discharge forms; transcribe physician orders; chart nursing notes.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
