Advocate Health Care is seeking a Practical Nurse for the Surgical 5E unit (Atrium Health Cleveland). This full-time role consists of 3 twelve-hour shifts with every third weekend. BLS and LPN licensure required, no experience needed, salary range $25.30–$37.95 per hour.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, data collection, plan of care execution, and patient teaching. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work with a diverse patient population.

Formación

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• LPN license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS certification within 6 months.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care per established policies, procedures and standards of care.
• Assist with assessment by collecting and documenting data.
• Detect significant changes in patient condition and report to RN.
• Assist with developing and implementing the plan of care as directed by the RN.
• Document nursing interventions and patient responses; communicate effectiveness and changes to RN.
• Perform clinical tasks such as medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, venipuncture, etc.
• Ensure age-appropriate care and proper lifting and patient handling.
