Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for pediatric ventilator patients in patients' homes, part-time or full-time. Shifts are 11pm–7am, offering flexible hours and weekly pay.

A $1,000 bonus is paid after 500 hours, with another $1,000 after 1,000 hours of patient care. Applicants must be currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the practicing state, have TB or chest X-ray on file, a current BLS card, and preferably at least one year of professional nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray on file.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes.
• Collect, analyze and document data and nursing diagnoses.

Starting Salary: $31 - $33 / Hour

Maxim Healthcare is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse to work with pediatric ventilator patients in their own home. We are looking for part-time and full-time nurses to work 11p-7a.

A $1,000 bonus will be paid out after the new employee works 500 hours with a pediatric ventilator patient. The additional $1,000 bonus will be paid out after the new employee works 1,000 hours with a pediatric ventilator patient.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
