Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to care for a gtube pediatric patient in the patient’s own home. The position runs Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

The LPN/LVN will perform nursing assessments, administer prescribed orders, and monitor the patient’s condition. A valid state license, TB screening, and BLS certification are required, with one year of nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensed in the state of practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient.
• Collect, analyze, and document health data and nursing diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
