Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to work with pediatric ventilator patients in their own home. Positions available are part-time and full-time, with night shifts from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

A $1,000 bonus will be paid after 500 hours with a pediatric ventilator patient, and an additional $1,000 bonus after 1,000 hours. Competitive benefits and weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state where practice is needed.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray current.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from health care team and document nursing diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
